We just returned from touring Greece and Italy. The passing of time is evident at every turn. Here are a few pictures from our travels.
Modern Athens and ancient Athens are side by side.
Ancient Corinth ruins stand proudly in front of the Acrocorinth. The temple was built around 550 B.C.
The temple of Poseiden built in 440 B.C. according to Wikipedia.
The setting sun has often been associated with the passing of time. This was taken on Cape Sounion in Greece where the ruins of the temple of Poseidon stand.
I hope you have a great day!
